Description
Lund University is looking for a motivated postdoctoral fellow to join its Clinical Memory Research Unit, for genetic studies in AD, under the leadership of associate professor Niklas Mattsson-Carlgren, professor Oskar Hansson, and assistant professor Jacob Vogel. The postdoctoral fellow will perform genomic studies in healthy control subjects, and patients with AD and other neurodegenerative diseases. The postdoctoral fellow will also leverage other high-dimensional data modalities (e.g., proteomics and quantitative neuropathology) to clarify genetic functions and pathways that are involved in disease. The overarching goal is to contribute to a better understanding of the mechanisms through which different genetic variants affect the risk of AD. This is a full-time employment limited to two years, with a possible extension for up to one additional year.
