Biogen Clinical Trials
For Patients and Families
- Biogen’s mission is to discover, develop and deliver innovative therapies that improve the lives of patients. We are grateful to the patients, healthy volunteers, hospitals, and clinics that participate in the clinical trials for testing our potential therapies. Each individual’s participation contributes enormously to our understanding of disease and has the potential to benefit patients around the world. Deciding to participate in a clinical trial requires careful consideration. In most cases, the therapies investigated in clinical trials are not yet approved by regulatory agencies likethe Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States. The benefits and risks of taking the treatment are not completely known. By volunteering for a clinical trial, you are helping the medical community determine whether new treatments are safe and effective. Biogen is conducting numerous clinical trials in neurologic and immunologic diseases to evaluate the efficacy and safety of potential therapies. Learn more about our currently enrolling trials by disease area here.
- In selecting trial sites, we pay careful attention to the expertise and training of the staff, the availability of patients, the regulatory frameworks of the host country, and several other critical factors. If you are interested in learning more about our clinical programs and how you can get involved in our research, please contact us at ClinicalTrials@biogen.com.
Transparency & Data Sharing
- Biogen is committed to supporting clinical trial disclosure and responsible data sharing in compliance with global legal and regulatory requirements and in alignment with the biopharmaceutical industry’s principles.
