This report points to plasma levels of DJ-1 as potential biomarkers of PD and dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB). It will be interesting to see comparisons with AD, AD+DLB, and early-stage disease to know about the potential utility of DJ-1 as a peripheral biomarker.
