I'd like to refer to our study of Aβ-treated and P301L tau-expressing SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells, where we found that for normalization of mRNA levels it is best to use more than just one reference gene. Specifically, we identified the combined use of GAPD, M-RIP, and POLR2F as a good choice for normalization.
