  1. This report is a continuation of a series of papers in which Dr Park and his colleagues attempt to unravel the intricacies of the cell cycle driven mechanism of neuronal apoptosis. The involvement of DNA damage in this process is especially important in light of the age-associate neurodegenerative diseases, because cumulative DNA damage is an established hallmark of brain aging.
