Under the direct supervision of the principal investigator, the postdoctoral researcher will work independently on research projects in the lab.
According to the PI’s instructions, the postdoctoral researcher will conduct research in one or more areas in the lab:
- neuroimmune mechanisms of CNS repair and regeneration;
- the role of monocytes in resisting the pathology associated with Alzheimer’s disease;
- immune-based therapy for Alzheimer’s disease; and
- retinal pathology in Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders for early diagnosis.
Experience in neuroimmunology and neuro-ophthalmology.
Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree.
