A full-time, NIH-funded postdoctoral research fellow position is available to study molecular mechanisms underlying learning and memory disorders, with a particular focus on Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and other aging-related cognitive syndromes (https://www.malabalzheimer.com).
The successful candidate should be a highly motivated researcher with a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the field of biomedical science/neuroscience. Research experience in one of the following areas is desirable but not required: 1) behavioral analysis of transgenic rodent models; 2) stereotaxic injection/surgery for gene or drug delivery in rodent brains, and 3) electrophysiology with brain slices.
