The Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders at the University of California, Irvine, anticipates openings for a full-time position in the postdoctoral scholar series. This research opportunity focuses on aging, cognition, and dementia under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Nation.

Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on availability of support. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

Individuals holding a Ph.D. in the psychological sciences or related fields with excellent training in neuropsychology (or those with an expected Ph.D. degree conferral date before the start of the position term) are encouraged to apply. The anticipated start for this position is Fall 2023 (August/September).

The Postdoctoral Scholar will have the opportunity to pursue research and publications as part of a multidisciplinary program of neuropsychology, neuroimaging, statistical analysis, and neuroscience of aging and dementia. Interdisciplinary skills and approaches and evidence of past research accomplishments are preferred. A major focus of this position will be to lead data management and statistical analysis aspects of several studies of cognitive decline. Additional expertise in neuropsychological assessment, psychometric theory, cognitive science, and neurobehavioral function are also preferred, specifically as pertains to aging and age-related dementias.
