The lab's research is focusing on innate immune responses and lipid metabolism in microglia and their contributions to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegerative diseases using various disease-relevant animal models and iPSC-derived cellular models. The lab is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral associate to lead projects including the microglial lipid metabolism and TREM2/DAP12-mediated immune responses in Alzheimer’s disease. These projects are highly innovating and supported by NIH.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, with background of cell biology or neuroscience. Experience in immunology or lipid metabolism is preferred.
