The Stark Neurosciences Research Institute and the Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics at the Indiana University School of Medicine are recruiting an assistant research professor to investigate animal models of neurodegeneration and traumatic brain injury as well as translational studies relating these models to human disease. This individual will conduct and oversee funded research projects, write grants, and provide oversight of a research laboratory focused on neurodegeneration and traumatic brain injury.

The applicant should have experience analyzing animal models, including molecular and behavioral studies. The successful candidate must have either a Ph.D. or M.D. degree and postdoctoral experience. The candidate must be able to mentor undergraduate students, medical students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows.
