The Department of Pathology ( at the University of California, San Diego, is seeking exceptional scientists for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level. 

Qualified candidates will be expected to develop and sustain outstanding extramurally funded research programs. Considerable opportunity exists for collaboration within our robust clinical enterprise and with the UCSD Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.

Candidates are also expected to teach as well as perform research training and university service.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
