BRAIN Initiative: Brain-Behavior Quantification and Synchronization Transformative and Integrative Models of Behavior at the Organismal Level (R34 Clinical Trial Optional) (RFA-DA-24-042)

Award: The NIH BRAIN Initiative intends to commit an estimated total of $2.2M to fund an estimated six awards. The combined budget for direct costs for the two-year project period may not exceed $450,000. No more than $225,000 may be requested in any single year.

2024-2025 AD-RCMAR Research Scientist Enrichment Program

Sponsor: Michigan Center for Contextual Factors in Alzheimer’s Disease (MCCFAD)

Award: Research career enrichment program involving seminar participation and mentoring in AD-relevant research. Funds (up to $30,000 in direct costs) are available for investigator-initiated research projects that support the development of independent NIH-funded projects. Proposals with high likelihood of advancing research on ADRD disparities, especially among Middle Eastern and North African/Arab Americans and Hispanic/Latinos, are particularly encouraged.
