Accelerating and Scaling Biological Sciences with AI

Award: This grant is for an allocation of CZI’s GPU resource (minimum request of 96 GPU). This is an in-kind award; there are no cash funds, financial contributions, or fees of any kind associated with the award.

The Michigan Center for Contextual Factors in Alzheimer’s Disease 2025 Research Career Enrichment Program

Sponsor: The Michigan Center for Contextual Factors in Alzheimer’s Disease (MCCFAD)

Award: Funding for up to $30,000 in total costs (maximum of 8% allocated to indirect costs) for a relevant research proposal, pending NIA approval. Access to monthly mentoring with experts in the fields of epidemiology, culturally- sensitive care, health economics, and minority aging. Guidance in the development of independent NIH-funded projects. Advanced training in ADRD secondary data utilization through the Summer Data Immersion program.

Aging Research Dissertation Awards to Promote Diversity (R36 Clinical Trial Not Allowed) (PAR-24-130)

Sponsor: National Institute on Aging

Award: Award budgets are composed of salary and additional expenses. NIH will fund up to $42,500 per year in salary. NIH will fund up to $28,656 for additional expenses such as fringe benefits (e.g., health insurance for self and family members), travel to scientific meetings, and dissertation research costs in accordance with institutional policies. With the exception of costs associated with the dissertation (i.e., dissertation credits), no funds may be used to pay tuition or fees. Support is provided for up to two years.
