Immunogen = synthetic peptide based on the N- terminal end of the large subunit (Domain I) of human Calpain 2

Specificity

reacts with the propeptide domain, (Domain I) of Calpain 2, N-terminal from the activation cleavage site. It binds to reduced and non reduced Calpain 2, but does not recognize N-processed Calpain 2. Does not recognise the other calpain family members (calpain 1, calpain 94, ncl 2, ncl 3, etc.).
