Desperately Seeking Antibodies - Posted 18 November 2008
A request for some Alz-50 or MC1 antibody. "I am just finishing my PhD and would love to look at confirmational changes in relationship to other AD pathology in human tissue."

A question about the amyloid-beta antibody 4G8, from Rufus Akinyemi: How specific is 4G8 for insoluble amyloid fibrils in amyloid plaques? I'm getting significant intracellular IR (suggesting intracellular amyloid presence) while using 4G8 to stain f! or extracellular amyloid.

If an AD drug were to show promise as a cognition booster in normal people, and side-effects are tolerable, would you take it?
