Job Title: Postdoctoral Position in Oslo, Norway

Description: Candidate for postdoctoral position (100 percent) over three years sought at the Department of Neurology, Akershus University Hospital, University of Oslo, Norway. Successful applicants will participate in the project: 'Towards Alzheimer's disease intervention: Measuring Aβ mid-domain proteolysis' which focuses on early causes and diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, in particular smyloid-β (Aβ) metabolism. CNS A? deposition is one of the characteristics of Alzheimer's disease.

This postdoctoral position will be part of the clinical neuroscience group (CNG) at AHUS, lead by Prof. Tormod Fladby, and will also be connected to Prof. Lars Nilsson's group at the Institute of Pharmacology, University of Oslo.

Requirements: PhD/Dr. Scient/Dr. Med. Experience and proved competence within proteomics Experience within molecular biology, cell biology, and/or neurobiology. The candidate should have experience within proteomics/mass spectrometry and analysis of peptides. Our laboratory uses Orbitrap QExative mass spectrometer; experience with this or similar equipment is desirable. The research group is multidisciplinary, and personal suitability for work in a group with different types of professionals is emphasized.
