Job Title: Leonard Wolfson Clinical Fellowship in Neurodegeneration
Employer: Leonard Wolfson Experimental Neurology Centre at UCL, London, U.K.
Description: The Leonard Wolfson Experimental Neurology Centre is launching an exciting Clinical Fellowship in neurodegeneration research. This degree will provide an unrivalled opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research under the supervision of world-class basic science and clinical researchers. We are inviting highly motivated fellows, interested in using interdisciplinary approaches to address a wide variety of questions in neurodegeneration research, and advance our understanding and treatment of neurodegenerative disease (NDD) to apply for these programmes. Candidates whoare interested in applying to the programme should demonstrate not only an interest in neurodegeneration research but a clear intention to pursue a career in academic clinical research.
Requirements: To apply for this programme, candidates should be a registered Medical Practitioner; have completed general medical training; hold MRCP or equivalent; be resourceful and able to act on own initiative; have good inter-personal skills with an ability to work co-operatively in a multidisciplinary setting; most importantly an interest in, and enthusiasm for, neurodegenerative disease with a long term career aim to pursue research in neurodegenerative diseases.
