The purpose of the Dementia 2013 medical education conference is to update practitioners on the signs and symptoms of Alzheimer, frontotemporal, Lewy body, vascular and other dementias to promote correct diagnoses and treatments. The various motor, visuospatial, psychiatric and behavioral changes of dementias will be explored through a case-based approach. The proper use of imaging technologies will also be examined.
We especially want to encourage neurologists, psychiatrists, family practice and primary care physicians, internists, geriatricians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other allied health professionals who care for patients with dementia to attend.
