The aim of the conference is to bring together neuroscientists from the region and the rest of the world to discuss the advances of alpha-synuclein in health and diseases. At the meeting we will debate current issues and challenges in structures and mechanisms involved diseases, new strategies for early disease detection (Biomarkers) to allow future neuroprotective and restorative treatment, and new therapeutic strategies for Parkinson disease, dementia and multiple system atrophy.
The conference will present a good balance between the recent advances in basic science and translational research.
