Transgene: T-WT mice were created by microinjection of a minigene comprised of all
of the human CNS expressed exons and intronic sequences surrounding exons 2, 3 and
10.
Promoter: Human tau
Mouse Strain: Origin: C57BL/6 x SJL hybrids; Distributed: C57BL/6 x SJL hybrids
Neuropathological Analysis:
No neuropathology. Molecularly, tau isoforms with and without exon 10 are expressed
at a 1:1 ratio. The level of protein expression is approximately 3 times the level
of endogenous mouse tau protein.
Behavioral:
Normal.
