Transgene: For the generation of double-transgenic mice, single-transgenic APPV717I
mice (strain FVB/N) (Moechars, D) were intercrossed with ADAM10-dn animals.
Mutation: APPV717I
Promoter: Mouse Thy1
Mouse strain: FVB/N
Neuropathological Analysis:
Expression of ADAM10dn led to an enhancement of the number and size of amyloid plaques
in the brains of double-transgenic mice.
Behavioral
Improved performance in Morris Water Maze test as compared to APPV717I
mice
