Transgene: YAC containing entire wt 300 kb human APP gene introduced into R1 embryonic ES cells

Mouse Strain: Original background 129S2/svPas-derived D3 ES cells;
Published/distributed Background C57BL/6J;
Generation: N11+N1F2 (20-DEC-07).

Phenotype

Neuropathological Analysis:

Mice express hAPP transcripts and proteins at levels similar to endogenous mouse APP products in brain, neurons of hippocampus and neocortex and peripheral tissues. Mice did not show evidence of AD-type pathology.
