Transgene: Mouse pronuclei (B6D2F1) were injected with a transgenic construct containing
cDNA-encoding hAPP751 with Swedish double mutation (at 670/671 position), regulated
by the human Thy-1 promoter.
Promoter: Human Thy-1
Mouse Strain: Origin: C57B/6
Neuropathological Analysis:
2 fold overexpression of APP mRNA. APP14 mice do not show any indication of AD pathology
up to an age of 2 years.
Behavioral:
No abnormal behavioral changes reported in APP14 mice.
