Recently, Anna Lord reported that the mAb158 sandwich ELISA detects synthetic protofibrils, as well as protofibrils in biological samples from a variety of mouse models	immunogen = 30 μg Aβ1–42 Arc protofibrils	monoclonal (supernatant, protein-G purified)	ELISA, IB, WB	beta amyloid protofibrils; does not bind to other amyloids or to amyloid precursor protein (APP). The conformation selectivity of mAb158 is exclusive for amyloid-β (Aβ) as it did not display any binding to other amyloid fibrils; mAb158 did not immuno precipitate α-APPs from cell media or full-length APP from mouse brain homogenate; binds to Aβ fibrils in addition to oligomeric Aβ; has some cross-reactivity with monomeric Aβ	human
