MUTATIONS
A listing of all of the reported mutations in amyloid-beta precursor protein (AβPP), presenilin-1 (PS1) and presenilin-2 (PS2) -- the three known genetic causes of autosomal dominant, familial Alzheimer disease -- as well as mutations in the tau gene that cause inherited frontotemporal dementia with Parkinsonism (FTDP).


ALZGENE
The AlzGene database is a collection of published genetic association studies performed on AD phenotypes. The database includes summaries of key characteristics of the investigated populations, as well as genotype distributions in cases and controls. AlzGene also provides continuously updated random-effects meta-analyses for polymorphisms with genotype data in at least three case-control samples.

Related models are grouped into tables to facilitate comparisons of different models and to provide information on the availability of each model.
