This careful study raises an important question of whether - and how - passive immunization increases the chance for microvessel hemorrhage. The absence of an overt alteration importantly limits the possibilities and raises the question of whether the critical issue could be uncovered by longitudinal analysis or focal concentrations of antibodies. Clinical correlates are critical to determine.
