  1. There have been many reports of peptide sequences as anti-amyloidgenic agents; so far all of them failed in vivo.

    Therefore crucial questions are:

    do these peptides make it into the brain?

    are the orally available?

    is fibril disruption still a target?

    are 100 uM or 10 uM concentrations of Ab40/42 sufficient for compound profiling?

    Are the compounds selective, do they target other protein aggregates?
