Increase in core body temperature of Alzheimer's disease patients as a possible indicator of chronic neuroinflammation: a meta-analysis.
Gerontology. 2007;53(1):7-11.
PubMed.
The conclusion states, "The significant increase in core body temperature in AD patients could be a direct consequence of local inflammatory reactions in the brain." It is, however, not necessary to limit to inflammatory reactions in the brain since it is now well-known that peripheral cells also exhibit inflammatory reactions in AD.
