  1. Racial comparison of ApoE alleles is important to know function(s) of other genetic factors than APP, PS1, PS2. Such study is supposed to provide some information of molecular mechanism of the disease etiology.

  2. Interesting paper highlighting differences in relative risk for ad associated with apoe4 genotype in different ethnic populations. Suggests that Hispanic or African a American populations might be a good place to start looking for other genetic risk factors for AD.
