REAGENTS/MATERIAL: Aβ levels in the hippocampus of 3- to 4-week-old and 2- to 3-month-old hAPPJ20
mice were measured by ELISA (Johnson-Wood et al., 1997)
Immunostaining: Coronal brain sections (30 mm) were blocked with blocking buffer
and incubated with rabbit anti-GFP (Invitrogen),
mouse monoclonal anti-NeuN (A60) (Chemicon),
rabbit anti-NPY (ImmunoStar),
and mouse monoclonal anti-BrdU (BMC 9318) (Roche),
followed by incubation with appropriate secondary antibodies.
