REAGENTS/MATERIAL:
CSF was collected by lumbar puncture, centrifuged, and stored at –80°C in polypropylene tubes except where specified. We measured Aβ42, T-tau, and P-tau (tau phosphorylated at Thr 181) with single-parameter ELISA kits:
Innotest β-amyloid [1–42], Innotest hTAU-Ag and Innotest Phospho-tau [181P] (Innogenetics, Ghent, Belgium).
