Primary antibodies used in this study include:
rabbit anti-human SREBP2 (Abcam); monoclonal mouse anti-human LRP (5A6) (Calbiochem); rabbitl anti-pan Aβ (Biosource Invitrogen); monoclonal rat anti-mouse CD31 (MEC 13.3) (BD Pharmingen); monoclonal mouse anti-SM‑calponin (hCP) (Sigma Aldrich); monoclonal mouse anti-SM-α-actin (1A4) (Sigma Aldrich); goat anti-LRP1 (N-20) (Santa Cruz); rabbit anti-SRF (G-20) (Santa Cruz); goat anti-MYOCD (M-16) (Santa Cruz); monoclonal mouse anti-SREBP2 (IgG-IC6) (BD Pharmigen) and goat anti-β-actin (I-19) (Santa Cruz).
For mouse Aβ42-specific sandwich ELISA we used the capturing antibody monoclonal mouse anti-Aβ, raised against amino acid residues 1-20 (252Q6) (Biosource Invitrogen), and for detection of Aβ40, rabbit anti-Aβ40 #44-3489; for detection of Aβ42, rabbit anti-Aβ42 #44-3449 (Biosource Invitrogen)
