REAGENTS/MATERIAL:
For immunofluorescence cells were plated, fixed and incubated with antibodies against Gap-43, a neuronal differentiation marker, (Novus Biologicals). Western blots were probed with monoclonal N-cadherin (BD Bioscience) antibody, which recognizes full-length fragments, and C-terminal fragments 1 and 2 (CTF1 and CTF2), polyclonal CBP A-22, polyclonal p300 N-15 (Santa Cruz Biotechnology), and monoclonal -tubulin antibodies (Calbiochem). Immune complexes were visualized with enhanced chemiluminescence detection (Amersham Pharmacia).
