REAGENTS/MATERIAL:

Animal models used were: PDAPP mice, ApoE-/- (Bales, 1997) and clusterin-/- (DeMattos, 2002).

Antibody rabbit pan-Ab antibody (Biosource International) was used for IHC. Elisa method was used for measurement of Ab40 and Ab42 levels in plasma, CSF, or brain tissue. Western blots were probed to detect full-length APP and APP C-terminal fragments with CT15 (gift of Dr.Koo) and rabbit polyclonal antibody against the terminal 15 amino acids of APP (RGP-3).
