	At neutral pH, PI influences amyloidosis of in vitro Ab1-42 but not Ab1-40. This may be relevant with the presence of diffuse plaque formation. View all comments by Hiroshi Mori

	This is a nice paper because it examines the role of lipids in amyloid formation. Such a role was already indicated by several laboratories. There are good evidence indications that the first seeds of amyloid fibrils may form on membranes. View all comments by Nikolaos K. Robakis
