We are looking for a senior research scientist with a strong background in the field of neurodegeneration. The Department for Neurodegeneration is engaged in early to late-phase drug-discovery research programs, focusing on treatment of primarily Alzheimer's disease and neurovascular disease. The department is responsible for identifying and validating targets and to conduct cell- and animal-based studies to advance either small-molecule compounds or biologics into drug candidates. Techniques represented in the department range from molecular biology, biochemistry, histology, cell-based assays, and in-vivo electrophysiology to animal behaviour. We are currently five academics, four technicians, as well as Ph.D. and master students in the department. It is an international group based at Lundbeck's headquarter in Valby.
