ARF Voluntary Disclosure Policy for Contributors
Purpose
To promote openness and integrity of scientific information on the ARF
web site by giving authors and commentators an opportunity to disclose
potential conflicts of interest, financial interests, or lack thereof.
Who will be asked to disclose?
Contributors who post comments, texts, data and other editorial content
on the web site will be invited to fill out a disclosure form attached
to their online member data. The disclosure is not mandatory.
Disclosure Form
This form allows members to disclose any competing financial interests that,
through their potential influence on behavior or content or from perception
of such potential influences, could undermine the objectivity, integrity or
perceived value of a posting on the ARF website. For practical definitions of
competing financial interests see
Nature's web site.
Members have the option to fill out a form in their member profile.
Disclosure is voluntary and information can be updated at any time.
