Building on the enormous success of the inaugural Canadian Alzheimer’s Disease Basic Research Symposium (CANAD) in Quebec City, the second CANAD symposium will take place on October 4-5, 2016, in Vancouver. The meeting will be held at the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health at the University of British Columbia, a global center for research and teaching. Dedicated to finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, CANAD 2016 will be devoted primarily to Canadian research, and will include fundamental, imaging, and biomedical research. Researchers from coast to coast will have the opportunity to share their latest discoveries and breakthroughs from molecular mechanisms to preclinical trials.
