CCP 2016 is devoted to the advancement of cognitive psychology, the study of mental processes such as attention, language use, memory, perception, problem solving, creativity, and thinking. Much of the work derived from cognitive psychology has been integrated into other disciplines of psychological study, including educational psychology, social psychology, personality psychology, abnormal psychology, developmental psychology, and economics. The scope of CCP 2016 covers both theoretical and practical areas of cognitive psychology, such as behavioral and cognitive neuroscience, cognitive development, memory, attention, perception, metacognition, categorization, knowledge representation, language and linguistics/psycholinguistics, learning sciences, thinking, judgment and decision making, and applications of cognitive psychology.
