Neither Dr. Morris nor his family owns stock or has equity interest (outside of mutual funds or other externally directed accounts) in any pharmaceutical or biotechnology company. From July 2002 to July 2003, Dr. Morris participated in clinical trials of antidementia drugs sponsored by Elan, Eli Lilly, and Merck. He has also served as a consultant or received speaking honoraria for the following companies: Celera, Forest Labs, Janssen, Neurochem, Novartis, and OCC/Johnson & Johnson.
