Poll Question: Does cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) get enough attention
from AD researchers? Please explain your reply.
Many resarchers are dedicated to the correlational study of CAA and some AD patients. Most AD sufferers do not have buildup of CAA, which is structurally similar to both amyloid beta and insulin. CAA may play a minor role in the onset of some dementias, and many competent researchers analyze blood and pertinent vessels that may have partial build up, increasing risk of abnormal brain function through protein aggregates.
