I am from a small biotech company based in the UK working in neurodegeneration, specifically looking at the tauopathies. We are developing a series of tau hyperphosphorylation inhibitors. We have data from target and cell assays and are now looking at progressing our lead compound to suitable animal models. As we are a small biotech and do not have the resources or license to carry out animal work ourselves, I would be grateful if you could provide details of academic groups or contract companies that specialize in such models as well as what models you would recommend/suggest.
