The Quietmind Foundation is beginning recruitment for the second arm of its research program employing non-drug, non-invasive treatments for cognitive and behavioral symptoms of dementia.

The current randomized, double-blind, controlled clinical trial involves 28 consecutive daily sessions of 1,072 nm infrared light stimulation and 4 hours of neurophysiological and neuropsychological testing before and after the series of treatments.

Each daily treatment takes 15 min. to complete and are available in Plymouth Meeting, PA, and Hebron, KY. Subjects must have a diagnosis of dementia. Subjects will be compensated $250 for their participation.
