immunogen = entire extracellular domain (corresponding to residues 1–429) of the rat TrkB receptor, expressed in COS cells; the immunizing sequence has 97% identity with mouse TrkB and 88% identity with human TrkB

Specificity

recognizes 145 kDa TrkB, as well as an additional protein, Mr 90 kDa, which is likely a TrkB degradation product
