Immunogen/Epitope

immunogen = phosphopeptide pS409/410 (SMDSKS(p)S(p)GWG), corresp. to amino acid residues 404-413 of human TDP-43, coupled to BSA or ovalbumin.

Specificity

detects C-terminal TDP-43 phosphorylated at Serine 409 and 410, not with the non- phosphorylated peptide and not with physiologic TDP-43; labels all types of pathologic inclusions, such as NCI, CGIs, NII, DN previously described with phosphorylation-independent TDP-43 antibodies
