Specificity

recognizes the 170kD (wild type) and 145kD (vIII variant) forms of human EGF receptor. The epitope maps to the cytoplasmic domain of EGFR. Reacts with both the unphosphorylated and phosphorylated form of EGFR. Does not react with erbB-2, erbB-3 or erbB-4.
